May

So catching up for May...

We visited our old house and cleaned it up for the new renters on my 30th birthday...Happy Birthday to me, ha ha. We were hanging out in front of the house before

The kids really enjoy dressing up.

We met up with some Pumpkin Pies. This was a birth board I joined in 2007 and we have stayed close through all these years with quite a few of us meeting up. Shannon and Mya (on the left) used to live in Fort Collins, but have since moved to Texas. Amelia and Ellie (far right) live in the D.C. area. Ellie should be getting a new brother or sister very soon!

At our last MOPS (Mothers Of PreSchoolers) meeting of the year, Anna-Jane and the older children gave a performance for all of the moms. I LOVED every second. She did so well.

The end of the month started the first of several trips out to Durango. Kyle has been working on a huge project at Fort Lewis and the company has a condo up there for us that is really awesome!! It even has a private elevator and is situated right on main street about 3 blocks from the train station. The kids "choo choo" about 4 times a day depending on when it goes out and comes back in.

April

April brought many things!

Anna-Jane discovered her love of helping and cooking in particular.

Judah had surgery to repair his clogged tear duct. He has had it since birth and all his little life it has not been able to drain down into his nose so it just ended up pooling in the corner of his eye. I didn't think it would make such a huge difference having it fixed, but it really has.

in the waiting area before we were called back for prep

in prep. we were here a while and he really got antsy (especially since he was pretty hungry and couldn't understand why we wouldn't feed him)

this helped the most

after. He did this for HOURS! look at those lips, they kill!

later that night, suckers for a treat.
you can't even tell he had eye surgery!

We hung out with friends

Macy, Anna-Jane and Selah

Selah and Anna-Jane

then we went to Waco (again!) for a last minute trip. Kyle needed to go out of town and was going to be working non-stop for the next few weeks so it was for my sanity that we packed and went off to Bibi and Boss's for a little while.

uncle Josh is always a lot of fun

we celebrated Easter while we were there

the kids could care less about smiling for the camera

the loot

Bibi and Boss acquired a large castle in a shrewd real estate move
