We went to see our midwife today and she did an ultrasound to help me determine the right due date for this baby. The new date is November 7th (my half birthday!)! We are very excited and got to see the heartbeat. The arms and legs were moving around, though it was hard to make the head and body out.
The squeaking is Anna-Jane's shoes. The faint but quick thump thumps are the heartbeats.
The line she draws over the length of the baby is how she measures the "crown to rump length" which is a way to determine the age of the baby.
We are so happy and it makes it just a little more real seeing the baby move. Dotti, my midwife is guessing boy. We'll see in about 8-10 weeks!!

Congrats again! It's great to see you can work with the same Midwife that delivered Anna-Jane. I'm so excited to see more photos and news as you post.
Blessings,
Ashleigh
PS--You were right--we're having a boy!
