making up for lost time

I've been inspired by some really great photojournalistic family/child photographers lately so I've been trying to shoot more and have the camera out and ready when I feel like there is something to shoot...or just cause!

Our daily time outside

Daddy let her "paint" the landscape fabric (with water)

This is the back of a child who is allergic to Burt's Bees Buttermilk Lotion.
She's much better and the redness is almost gone. She did look pretty pathetic though the first day.

She didn't really cooperate for me with these. Can I get a smile out of the kid? nope. She either is fussing b/c she is not with me or she is too close to the camera coming towards me and I can't focus anymore.

You can tell this is exciting stuff.

I had to crop a foot out of this one.

...and this one is for my dad. When we were in Texas my dad came back one afternoon with some camo onesies (even a dress) for the kids (Judah included). I tried to get a cute shot of her, but again- not in the mood. Here is the one, yes one image I managed to get.
